The Channel Sailing Club hosts a range of enjoyable social events, aimed at bringing members together in a convivial atmosphere at our welcoming clubhouse. Staged throughout the year, they include regulars such as Burns' night, a summer BBQ and a pre-Christmas mulled wine and mince pies evening. Other seasonal events include a curry night, Greek food and cooking on board demonstrations. Pricing is kept to a minimum with many members volunteering to make dishes or provide ingredients.During the warmer months, members can make use of tables outside in the evening sun, making the summer BBQ an especially enjoyable event.Social events are not all about food though - we also host quiz and film nights and our annual Catch the Tide event which previews sailing events that year.
Social Event applications - Members can apply and also add guests who can also be other Club members. This is done online when logged in by using the Register button shown on the particular event page.
The events often involve a payment which is easily paid using the on-line facility.
