This page shows all Cruising events, including the Wednesday night briefing session. Events will be available for registration when an organiser is known.

Sailing Event applications - All Members individually must apply to go on sailing events. This is done online when logged in by using the Register button shown on the particular event page. There is a general cut-off date for applications of 7 days before sailing events (some may be longer). After that date you can contact the event organiser who may still be able to fit you in.

Applications are made as either as a Skipper or a Crew member. Skippers may include non-members as Guests on their applications. An email will be sent confirming the application to both the member and the event organiser.

    18th June: Shoreham to Fécamp 90 Nautical Miles. Early departure for daylight landfall in Fécamp

    Daylight Landfall in Fécamp, Arrival at circa 18:00 BST /19:00 French time, assuming a midnight departure from Shoreham and a 5 knots SOG progress

    Fécamp St Valery en Caux: 18 Nautical Miles

    19th June MHWN 17:30 French Summer Time 

     Access from 16:30 BST 17:30 French Summer Time

    20th June MHWN 18:34 French Summer Time    

     Access from 17:34 BST 18:34 French Summer Time    

    Sluice gate open 2 ½ hr before to 1 ¾ hr after high tide at H and H + 30’

     A day in Patrick’s home town, I’ll book the marina, dinner at the Casino Restaurant by the sea front if I can. Visit to the small fishermen’s chapel, the monument to the aviators Costes and Bellonte, and the memorial to the 51st Highlanders.

    I’ll have access to a car for the duration for Supermarket Booze and goodies shopping

    This is not an official club event, but it's a fantastic opportunity to join in the excitement of the Dartmouth Regatta. If you're interested in taking part, we encourage you to ask around the club and connect with fellow members. Speak to any skippers who might be planning to attend- they may have space available for you to join their crew. Don't miss the chance to experience this memorable event.


    Arguably one of the biggest highlights in Dartmouth's annual events calendar, the Dartmouth Regatta is a spectacular celebration that draws an incredible crowd and creates an electric atmosphere. This vibrant three day event offers a packed program featuring exhilarating sailing competitions, live music, delicious street food, dazzling fireworks, and so much more.
